After saying good bye and I do believe they did extent my time there until I was ready to send her over the rainbow bridge I was allowed to place her in the casket and stay there during the entire process. I needed this exactly the way it was done. I will most certainly have all my Pets including my Horse cremated there. In all the sadness this place was a true blessing I am more than grateful for.
Outstanding presentation - lovely paw print and rosewood box. Thank you for an outstanding job.
I am - after 4 month - still not very good talking about the passing of my Kitty. She was my first pet and I miss her every day. I never had to deal with the passing of my own Pet before. Words fail to describe just how helpful and supporting Abbey Glen in Quakertown was. I'd drive 400 miles to have my Pet handled by them.
All the people at Abbey Glen were incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful during a very painful time.
Very respectful treatment of myself and my departed Mickey...the entire process was clearly explained...no rushing...they even let Manny, my other dog, attend the cremation service. The cremation technition entered the viewing room to talk with me one on one and that was invaluable. I highly recommend their services, though not an inexpensive event.
I promised to my Kitty that I would watch and protect her and I wouldn't leave her at the Vet to be picked up by strangers. She died at home in the middle of Summer. I called Abbey Glen and - I believe his Name is Chuck - was incredibly helpful walking me through the next steps. He must have a 7th sense because he picked up all my emotions and talked to me exactly in the way I could handle the information at this point. If you want to - as I did - you can participate in every single step of the cremation process. They handled my Pet and me with utmost respect and care and gave me the priceless option to be there hence keep my promise to James.
We were beyond grief when our rabbit did not survive his surgery but when we received his ashes back we saw that they treated him with so much respect that it gave us such comfort that total strangers realized how much he meant to us. Thank you for that.
