Not very helpful to family and patient..

There is stimulation and activity for the residents and guests every day and that helps a lot.

Although this facility is relatively clean, we find they are understaffed. Some nurses are less than friendly to inquiries. There was a large black spider running around in the bathroom very much alive. The sheets were stained and had black particles in them. My mother did not receive her shower the day she was supposed to receive it and nurse staff was not sure if she would receive it the next day because it was not a 'shower' day for her. There is also a long wait for assistance in going to the bathroom for those that must walk with assistance and then they are chastised when they can not wait any longer and get up on their own.

Absolute joke! My grandmother did not get showers but nearly once a month. She had bed sores from not being rotated at night. They didn’t clean or care for wounds on her toes cause 2 toes to be amputated. Now the doctors are saying IF she lives (as she now has Osteomyelitis, a bone infection) her other foot will need to be amputated as well. This place isn’t fit to care for a fish, let alone loved ones.

My dad has been there for 2 wks and I've called and I was put on hold for 7 min. while I'm at work, just to ask them why my dads phone wasn't working in his room? Other than that I think my dad is getting good care.

I stayed for 5 days in January. I found it to be a pleasant experience despite the fact that they seem to be understaffed.
