ive been to this hospital several times. First time i cam in by ambulance, with severe smoke inhalation on top of my asthma, it took me over 9 hours of gasping for breath before they treated me with anything including o2! now i have COPD and permanent lung damage due to that. the 2nd time i went in with a cat bite thru my wrist joint- i told them i needed iv antibiotics and the just sent me home after washing it- a day later i was sent to abington hospital in excruciating pain and massive infection , having to stay a week on iv antibiotics and just getting by without major surgery ! another time i went there was because i had a broken leg and they were refusing to admit me until a friend of mine who was a nurse at a different hospital convinced them to keep me under observation . the next day i had a mri and the drs came into my room very sheepishly saying i was right and i did have a broken leg but x-rays did not pick it up. by the way my leg was the size of a telephone pole -5 times the size of the other and i heard it break but they did not believe me! i gave an xtra star because the staff took care of me well- maybe because they were embarrassed ??

Normally I have nothing but good things to say about this er, this time though was different. Me and my fiance went with a friend. He was brought in by ambulance after he passed out at work. He was admitted with signs of vomiting non-stop for 4 days, dizziness, double vision, pain in groin, he wasn't able to stand up with out falling or walk and he passed out. Once at hospital he kept passing out then coming to over and over again along with feeling like his throat was tightening and also along with choking, every time we said anything we were told that they were not going to do anything until he stopped breathing.

I have had a very good ER experience in this hospital Dr.Vicky ..... and staff gave me one of the best health care experiences in my life. On other occasions this ER gave me very good treatment also. Do not hesitate to go there if needed. I am usually a bull in a china shop when that ill. These people do good work

I was here in ICU for four days in January. I have just spent 4 days here on Med-Surg. Everyone yes Everyone has been kind, courteous and professional. I highly recommend.

These nurses are rude & refuse to give me first names. This is ridiculous. Giving me dirty looks from my room. I've never been treated like this as a hospital. It's awful & disgusting.
